Effective July 21, 2026 · Version 2026-07-21-draft
Terms of Service
These terms govern access to WindowHop by shoppers, booth sellers, store partners, and administrators.
1. What WindowHop provides
WindowHop is a discovery and communication service for physical stores and booths. It displays current photos, store information, booth discounts, and private questions. WindowHop is not the seller of store merchandise, does not take possession of items, and does not complete merchandise purchases through the platform.
2. Accounts and eligibility
Users must provide accurate information and protect private access links. Store partners may confirm whether a person currently rents a booth. WindowHop controls platform accounts, subscriptions, technical support, and access decisions. Access links may not be shared with unauthorized people.
3. Seller content
Sellers and stores remain responsible for the accuracy, legality, and safety of photos, descriptions, discounts, hours, and messages they submit. By uploading content, the user grants WindowHop a non-exclusive license to store, resize, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the service. The user confirms that they have the right to provide the content.
4. Prohibited activity
Users may not upload unlawful, deceptive, infringing, malicious, sexually exploitative, hateful, or dangerous content; impersonate another person; interfere with the service; scrape private information; bypass access controls; or use WindowHop to arrange prohibited transactions. WindowHop may remove content or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, stores, or the platform.
5. Private questions and physical transactions
Shopper questions and seller replies are private to the intended participants, with store partners able to view booth threads for operational awareness but not reply as the seller. Messages are not guaranteed to be delivered instantly. Any inspection, hold, negotiation, payment, pickup, return, or dispute involving merchandise occurs directly with the physical store or seller under their own policies.
6. Store partner responsibilities
Store partners provide accurate store details, confirm booth renters, and manage optional physical hold requests when enabled. Stores do not manage WindowHop seller billing or technical support. Store-sponsored coverage may replace partner payments as described at checkout and in the Subscription & Trial Terms.
7. Availability and changes
WindowHop may update, improve, limit, or discontinue features. The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, provider outages, security events, or circumstances outside reasonable control. Material changes to these terms will be reflected by a new policy version and, when appropriate, a notice or renewed acceptance.
8. Disclaimers and limitation
WindowHop is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. WindowHop does not guarantee merchandise condition, authenticity, availability, store hours, seller performance, or the outcome of a physical transaction. To the extent permitted by law, WindowHop is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from platform use or physical-store transactions.
9. Termination
A user may stop using WindowHop at any time. WindowHop may suspend or end access for nonpayment, misuse, security risk, inaccurate booth claims, policy violations, or legal requirements. Subscription cancellation and post-cancellation access are governed by the Subscription & Trial Terms.
10. Governing terms
These terms, the Privacy Policy, Subscription & Trial Terms, Refund Policy, and the disclosures shown at checkout form the agreement for WindowHop service. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.
