Effective July 21, 2026 · Version 2026-07-21-draft
Subscription & Trial Terms
These terms will apply when WindowHop activates Stripe checkout for seller-paid and store-sponsored coverage.
1. Plans and displayed price
The price, billing interval, trial length, covered booth quantity, discount, and first charge date shown at checkout control the subscription. Seller-paid coverage applies to a specific booth. Store-sponsored coverage applies to the configured number of booths stated at checkout and replaces partner payments for that store while active.
2. Free trials
A trial may provide access before the first charge. When a payment method is collected at signup, the subscription automatically converts to paid access on the displayed trial-end date unless canceled before then. Trial eligibility may be limited by account, booth, store, payment method, or promotion. WindowHop may send a reminder before the first charge.
3. Automatic renewal
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the interval shown during checkout until canceled. The payment method on file is charged by Stripe. Taxes, when applicable, may be added. Price changes for an existing subscription will be communicated as required and will not be hidden through an unannounced booth-count change.
4. Cancellation
The subscriber may cancel through the Stripe customer portal or another cancellation method provided by WindowHop. Unless the checkout or cancellation screen states otherwise, access continues through the end of the already-paid billing period and does not renew. Canceling during a trial prevents the first charge when completed before the trial deadline.
5. Failed payments
Stripe may retry failed payments and request an updated payment method. WindowHop may limit new uploads or hide a booth after a reasonable recovery period if a subscription remains unpaid. Successful payment or reactivation may restore access automatically. Store employees are not responsible for resolving an individual seller’s billing problem.
6. Discounts and complimentary access
Promotional codes may be limited by expiration date, number of redemptions, store, plan, billing interval, or duration. Complimentary access is not a payment and does not count as seller-paid revenue or produce a store partner payment. A complimentary period may end on a stated date or continue until removed by WindowHop.
7. Store-sponsored coverage
A store-sponsored subscription uses one store payment to cover all or a stated quantity of booths at a wholesale rate. Sellers covered by the store do not pay individually. The store receives the wholesale benefit instead of a partner payment on those covered booths. Any change to the charged booth quantity will be shown to and confirmed by the store before billing is changed.
8. Partner-payment calculations
Partner payments apply only to eligible, successfully paid seller subscriptions under the store’s seller-paid partner plan. Trials, complimentary access, store-sponsored coverage, failed payments, refunds, disputes, and canceled access are excluded. WindowHop may use a reasonable waiting period before recording a partner payment to account for refunds and disputes.
