Effective July 21, 2026 · Version 2026-07-21-draft
Refund Policy
This draft policy explains how WindowHop intends to handle subscription charges when live billing is enabled.
Trial charges
A subscriber who cancels before the displayed trial-end deadline will not be charged the first subscription payment. Canceling after the deadline does not automatically reverse a charge that has already been processed.
Recurring charges
Subscription charges are generally non-refundable after a billing period begins, and WindowHop does not generally prorate unused time after cancellation. Access normally continues through the end of the paid period. This rule does not limit refunds required by applicable law.
Billing errors and duplicate charges
WindowHop will review reports of duplicate charges, incorrect quantities, unauthorized charges, or other billing errors. A request should include the account email, store or booth, charge date, and a description of the issue. Approved corrections are returned through the original payment method when practical.
Service problems
A temporary outage or an individual email-delivery problem does not automatically create a refund. WindowHop may provide a credit, extension, or refund when a substantial service failure materially prevents paid use and a fair remedy is appropriate.
Merchandise purchases
WindowHop does not process purchases of store merchandise. Returns, refunds, authenticity disputes, holds, and item-condition issues are handled by the physical store or seller under their own policies.
